Hope you had a great weekend! My wife took the pre driving test ( 仮免 ) and passed! I know she gave it her best shot!!
Japanese people often ask me how do you say: ‘Ganbatte – (‘ 頑張って ) in English, There are many ways such as ‘do your best’ etc but if you learn: ‘give it your best shot’ your English will sound more fun! Please try and use this phrase!
give it your best shot – to do something as best you can.
- A: I’m going to take my TOEIC test next week! 来週TOEIC受けるんだ。
- B: Give it your best shot!! うわぁ、頑張ってね！
- A: Thanks, I will!! うん、頑張るよ！
