I’m all ears!
Good morning! Ready for the new week? Today I thought I would start the week off with a fun and interesting lesson.
I’m all ears – I’m listening to you or I can hear you!! 聞いてるよ！聞こえてるよ！
- A: I have something to tell you Eddie. エディ話があるんだけど。
- B: Tell me what’s on your mind – I’m all ears! どうしたの？何でも聞くよ！
Here’s another one:
A: Did you tell him that you love him? 彼に愛してるって伝えたの？
B: Well, yes I did! え、えぇまぁね！
A: Tell me what he said, I’m all ears! そしたら彼はなんて言った？とくと聞かせておくれよ！
Homework:
The next time someone would like to tell you something important please try to use “I’m all ears” in the sentence.

- Possible answers:
- Go ahead, I’m all ears.
- Tell me, I’m all ears.
- Talk to me, I’m all ears.
- Of course, you can tell me anything, I’m all ears.
