I’m up for that
Today, we are going to learn how to use the phrase:
I’m up for that, which means that you want to and will take part in an activity.
When someone asks: Are you up for going to the pub?
They are asking you whether you want to go to the pub.
To which you can reply:
- I’m up for that
Example:
- James: Would you like to go out and get a burger?
- John: I’m up for that
Homework:
- This week, when your friends ask you whether you’d like do something, or go somewhere, reply with I’m up for that.
Note: I’m up for that is one of the many phrases, being taught at The Queen’s English School.
