In two minds.
Hi I finished work late last night and as I was on my way home I was in two minds whether to cook something from scratch or to get an Obento.
When I got home I was so happy to find that my wife had cooked my favorite dish! So it was lucky that I didn’t get an Obento.
In two minds - you can’t decide what to do.
- I’m in two minds if I should take the train or take a Taxi. – (I can’t decide. What should I do?)
Conversation:
A: What shall we do at the weekend?
B: Well, I’m in two minds. We could see a movie, or shall we go shopping?
A: I’d like to go shopping.
B: Okay, let’s do that!
Homework:
The next time you can’t decide what to do think about how you could use the phrase ‘in two minds’.
See you tomorrow.
