Hi good morning all hope you’re wide awake for our first lesson on this fine Saturday morning! Todays word for you to remember is “Snowed under” It means “having too much work to do” or “you’re too busy” For example:
- “I’ve been snowed under with work” (仕事が超忙しいよ!!)
- “I can’t come out tonight for a drink because I’m snowed under with so many things” (今夜はやることが沢山あって飲みに出かけられそうもないよ)

B: No sorry, I’m a little snowed under at work and need to work overtime tonight!(ごめん、ちょっと仕事が立て込んでて今日は残業しそうなんだ!)
Base meaning of Snowed under: Too much snow so you are unable to move.
