To drive one ape means to get angry about something!

Example:

If you drop your bread on the floor by mistake,why does it always land on the buttered side? Doesn’t it drive you ape?

People that push in line drive me ape!

Role-play:

A: Why are they beeping their car horn so much!

B: Because they don’t like being stuck in traffic.

A: It doesn’t make them go any faster by doing that, It really drives me ape!

B: I know what you mean!
